The farm, called Midacre Farm, down the road from where I live is gorgeous in all seasons. In spring and summer the greens of the meadow and forest blaze with life. In the fall everything glows with warm colors. In winter all is white, blue and gray, with the snowy peaks of the Pemigewasset Wilderness seaming to float above it all like downy islands.
