"Across the Ravine," 8x8 inch framed oil on panel painting (SOLD)
Regular price
The eastern slopes of Mount Washington on New Hampshire's Presidential Range offer some of the best above-treeline, alpine tundra hiking in the country. From Boott Spur to Nelson Crag there is a vast expanse of open land dotted with trail cairns and markers. Tuckerman Ravine sits right in the middle, a vast abyss with a campsite at the bottom. Being up here is truly amazing and exhilarating. I tried to capture the drama of sunlight and clouds moving over the mountain slopes.
