"Kinsman Falls," framed 5x8 inch watercolor and ink painting on paper
This piece is currently at The Libby Museum of Natural History in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire through June and July 2021. Please speak to museum staff about purchasing work while you are there.
Follow the Cascade Brook Trail up from The Basin and you'll eventually reach Kinsman Falls, a glittering pillar of water spilling down from a high, rocky cliff. Sudden and surprising, it is one of the most picturesque waterfalls in the White Mountains, and a wonderful spot to visit when in Franconia Notch. I loved discovering this gem on a trail run down from Lonesome Lake Hut. There are many gorgeous cascades to check out along this aptly named trail. I just had to capture this one in watercolor.

All paintings framed with glass are packed and shipped with the utmost care. First, a layer of foam-core is affixed over the front of the piece. Multiple layers of bubble wrap surround the entire painting before the it is sealed in a sturdy box. I mark the package as fragile and make sure my shipper is aware of the delicate contents.
