"Mist and Rocks" is an 8 by 10 inch oil on panel painting by Rebecca M. Fullerton, depicting boulders and grasses in the alpine zone of the Presidential Range in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire. Low clouds and mist skim over the slopes and the soft greys and greens make the scene feel somber and spooky, just like a day on the range when it's socked in.
This is a framed view of "Mist and Rocks," and 8 by 10 inch oil on panel painting by Rebecca M. Fullerton, depicting rocks, grasses, fog and clouds along New Hampshire's Presidential Range. The frame is a handmade pine float frame, with black detailing along the inner edges, making the painting look like it is 'floating' in the frame. The frame is 2.5 inches deep, so the painting stands out from the wall.

A view from above treeline on the magical Presidential Range on a moist, misty day. There's nothing better than walking along the ridgelines as clouds skim by, opening up one spectacular view after another. The White Mountains of New Hampshire offer many such places. One of the best routes is the Gulfside Trail, stretching from one end of the range to the other.
