"Nelson Crag," 6x9 inch watercolor and ink on paper
The Nelson Crag Trail starts high up on mighty Mount Washington, New Hampshire's highest peak, and meanders its way above the edges of Tuckerman Ravine and Huntington Ravine, before diving into the trees for a steep descent into Pinkham Notch. I loved this spot overlooking Huntington, with its raw granite walls and a view all the way back toward Boott Spur where I'd hiked from that day.
