This one lone tree on the river's edge was jumping into autumn to beat all the rest. It stood out against a bank of dark pines and was complimented by the dry grasses on the riverbank. It stopped me in my tracks while I was passing by, as scenes in autumn always do. The thrill of the colors in this season never get old.
