I painted this as a companion to another watercolor piece, "Ready for Winter," since I also love a good ski day. Rising to find a fresh layer of sparkling snow with no commitments on the calendar is a great feeling. Downhill, cross country, backcountry - whatever flavor of skiing you prefer - a good snow day warms my heart in the cold of winter.
