"Zealand Falls Hut, White Mountains, NH," framed 9x7.25 inch watercolor and ink painting on paper
Zealand Falls Hut, also known as Zool, sits beside a waterfall on the edge of the Pemigewasset Wilderness. Climb up the trail from the hut to Zeacliff and you'll have sweeping views of it all. Stay in the hut and you'll feel like you truly are far from the modern world. Here I hoped to capture the summer sun warming the huts façade, making it an inviting place to lounge and stare off at the mountains. Bring home the memories with this lovingly rendered view of the little hut on the edge of the wilds.

All paintings framed with glass are packed and shipped with the utmost care. First, a layer of foam-core is affixed over the front of the piece. Cardboard protectors go over each frame corner. Multiple layers of bubble wrap surround the entire painting before it is sealed in a sturdy box. I mark the package as fragile and make sure my shipper is aware of the delicate contents. I've never had a piece of glass break in transit.
