On a chilly day this autumn I stood at the base of the Mount Washington Auto Road and painted this slice of mountain slopes. I started painting this outdoors on the most delicious autumn day on Ammonoosuc Lake. Warm, sunny weather combined with beautiful autumn colors made this one of the best days of the season.
