A celebration of observation, place, and the changing seasons, Two in the Wild: A Plein Air Journey presents the work of artists Jessica Fligg and Rebecca M. Fullerton at The Gallery at WREN in Bethlehem, NH. Featuring a visual journey through all four seasons, the exhibition highlights the artists' practice of painting outdoors, directly from life. The show includes oil paintings created on location, capturing fleeting moments of light and atmosphere in the White Mountains and beyond with immediacy and authenticity. However, Two In The Wild isn't just about paintings. It documents a year of outdoor adventure. To create the work, Fligg and Fullerton wandered far and wide in the White Mountains. The resulting paintings express the sheer joy and beauty of hitting the trails and summits of our region and sharing in the creative process.
