A Chilly White Mountains Mountain Stream to Cool Your Tired Feet. Sink your toes into the soft moss and chill waters of a green velvet corner of the White Mountains in this vignette of a cold mountain stream far up the slopes of a mountain. The crystal-clear waters of the stream and reflections of leaves and moss above play off each other. From the delicate ripples in the water to the sunlight dancing on the surface, I hoped to depict both the movement and stillness of water over rocks.
