A still autumn evening on a marsh in the mountains. The clouds turn pink as the light fades, crickets sing in the tall grasses, and cool evening air settles over the water. In this painting I used a soft, muted palette. The marsh holds shades of green and gold, with the occasional splash of red and orange from the autumn leaves. The clouds lazily slipped by in shades of pink, purple, and blue.
