Venturing up to the plateau of Zeacliff one winter day, I found the boggy area up top transformed from its usual dressing of moss and cottongrass. Dark blue ice now flanked the snow-covered bog bridges stretching off into the distance. The bright sun cast purple and blue shadows across the whole scene. Turns out it is a pretty special place in all seasons.
