Weather moves fast over the Presidential Range, and if you're not keeping an eye on the sky, rain and storms can sweep in over you in an instant. Though not the most fun situation to hike in, the drama can be startlingly beautiful. I based this scene on a view off the eastern slopes of Mount Washington on an amazing day in the alpine. Fortunately, the rain held off and clouds merely swept by overhead.
