Watching the sun set from high places, far from civilization is true magic. Seeing the colors change, watching the shadows creep into the valleys, and feeling the warm air of day turn to the chill of night is not something everyone will experience.

Many of us go to the mountains for the challenge, to hike somewhere new, to see a spot we've been told the crowds don't go, and to have an adventure with close friends. The White Mountains of New Hampshire offer all of those things and I've spent many nights out, watching the sun go down over endless views. This is a capture of just one of those trips, made to stop time and act as a reminder of every epic backpacking experience.
