I say it anew every single year: "This is the brightest the colors have ever been!" It is probably because a whole year has passed and I cannot truly retain the memory of last year's autumnal glory, but every fall brings a feeling of new wonder all the same. This classic view of the head of Crawford Notch has been painted for decades and in all seasons. I hoped to capture just a bit of the autumn spectacle with my own contribute to the painted legacy of the Notch.
