"The Blue Hour" framed 8x10 inch oil on panel painting (SOLD)
When the sun starts setting early in winter it becomes harder to avoid hiking in the dark if you want to get too far out in the mountains. I took a late day hike as far as the Ranger Station at Tuckerman Ravine last winter and the ravine was already well into shadow when I arrived. I hopped and slid my way back down the trail watching the blues of evening creep up the Wildcat Ridge across the notch as I descended, feeling alive in the snappy cold air of the snow-covered world around me.
8 x 10 inch oil on panel painting
framed in a 13 x 15 inch dark walnut-toned, wood frame
