I captured this view down the Cutler River as it wends its way into Pinkham Notch. I was bounding through the snow down Tuckerman Ravine Trail. I started painting this outdoors on the most delicious autumn day on Ammonoosuc Lake. Warm, sunny weather combined with beautiful autumn colors made this one of the best days of the season. King Ravine is a massive glacial cirque on the northern slopes of the Presidential Range.
